Arctic Sage began with a frustration: most tea on Canadian shelves is anonymous - blended from many gardens, stripped of origin, sold by the box.
We do the opposite. We import in small lots directly from estates in India, keep every harvest separate, and label each pouch with its own lot code and brewing ritual - in English and French.
The result is tea you can actually trace. That is our gold standard.

How to brew the gold standard
Measure
One teaspoon (2 g) of loose leaf per cup - a little more if you take milk.
Heat
250 mL of water at 95 C. Just off the boil - never scalding.
Steep
Five to seven minutes, covered. Lift the leaf out, then sip slowly.
