Tea worth slowing down for
Arctic Sage began with a frustration. Walk into most Canadian shops and the tea on the shelf is anonymous — blended from a dozen gardens across several countries, stripped of origin, sold by the box. It's perfectly fine tea. It's also completely forgettable.
We wanted to do the opposite.
What we do
We import seven teas from estates in India: two Darjeeling-style black teas, a single-origin green, a hand-plucked white, and three botanical blends. We buy in small lots, keep every harvest separate, and never blend one garden into another to stretch supply.
Every tea comes in 25 g and 50 g pouches, and every pouch carries its own lot code. That means any cup can be traced back to the harvest it came from — which matters more than it sounds. It is how we answer a question about a specific batch, and it is what our obligations as a licensed food importer require.
Where we are
Arctic Sage Inc. is based at 91 Muzzo Drive, Brampton, Ontario. We are licensed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and every label is printed in both English and French, as Canadian food regulations require.
We ship across Canada — free on orders of $50 or more.
What we don't do
We don't blend down to hit a price. We don't buy from brokers who can't tell us which garden the leaf came from. And we don't make claims about what tea will do for your health — we would rather talk about how it tastes.
We sell tea. Good tea, from places we can name, in packaging that tells you the truth about what's inside.
