Which tea, and when
Seven teas, each chosen for a different moment in the day. Here is what each one actually tastes like, and how much caffeine to expect. Every tea is available in 25 g and 50 g.
Himalayan Darjeeling Reserve
Black tea · High caffeine · First flush, estate reserve
An orthodox Darjeeling-style black tea from the first spring picking. Bright and light-bodied with the muscatel note Darjeeling is known for, and a floral lift at the finish. A morning cup — good on its own, and it takes a small splash of milk without collapsing.
Moonlight First Flush
Black tea · High caffeine · Single-origin, hand-plucked
Our most expensive tea, and the one we'd point you to if you're buying a gift. Smoother and more aromatic than the Darjeeling, with a gentle malty depth underneath. Worth brewing carefully and drinking slowly.
Imperial White Tea
White tea · Low caffeine · Single-origin, hand-plucked
The most delicate tea we carry. Naturally sweet, soft, with a silky finish and almost no astringency. Drink it plain — milk would bury it. Mid-afternoon.
Green Zen Tea
Green tea · Medium caffeine · Single-origin
Clean, grassy and refreshing with a crisp finish. The most everyday tea in the range. Late morning, or after lunch.
Bergamot Earl Grey
Flavoured black tea · High caffeine
A full-bodied black tea infused with bergamot — citrus-bright and unmistakably aromatic. The classic breakfast cup, and the one most people already know how they like it.
Chamomile Green Tea
Green tea blend · Low caffeine
Green tea blended with whole chamomile flowers. Softly floral and gentle, with much less bite than a straight green. An evening tea.
Soothing Saffron Blend
Green tea blend with spices · Low caffeine
Green tea layered with saffron, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, safflower and rose petals. Warm, aromatic and a little golden in the cup. The most distinctive tea we make, and a slow one to sit with.
How to brew any of them
One teaspoon (2 g) per cup. 250 mL of water at 95 °C, just off the boil. Steep 5 to 7 minutes, covered, then lift the leaf out.
Full ingredients, caffeine level and steeping instructions are printed on every pouch in English and French, and listed on each product page.
